Joe Lieberman called himself a Democrat until he was beat in the primaries by a real progressive, but even before that, he was a vocal supporter of the worst of Bush's war crimes and a critic of what was supposedly his own party. The unicorn whales, long associated with abortion rights because of their habit of spearing each others unwanted offspring with their horn, endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

This is the first endorsement of a candidate by a non-human mammal species.

Republican party leaders were quick to point out that if they could make their preferences known, the scavengers and maggots that feed on the dead on battlefields would be 100% for McCain, who will fight to make sure those species are never endangered by being underfed.

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia defended the Bush use of torture during a recent visit to Britain. I hope he gets a chance to rule on this from the bench, so the next time he travels, he can be arrested as a war criminal.

John McCain: POW (W Bush that is)

It's hard not to admire John McCain for not only enduring being a POW in Vietnam, but denying a propaganda offer of an early release since he was the son of an admiral.

Despite being tortured by the North Vietnamese, John McCain was not broken until he went into political combat with a war-avoiding, dim-witted, spoiled trust fund baby, George W. Bush.

In 2000, the Bush campaign used all of these smears on McCain.

Push polls in the South accusing him of having an illegitimate black child
Calling his wife a drug addict
Saying McCain's time as a POW in Vietnam may have made him a Manchurian candidate

This was McCain's ultimate reply:

Why did he prostrate and humiliate himself to someone who is clearly less of a man, and can barely speak a coherent sentence even when someone is whispering in a microphone in his ear?

Maybe because McCain is owned by the kind of people who own Bush (and who Bush is himself), the wealthy who see us as so much cattle to milked with every new financial scam they dream up, and slaughtered when they need to do a hostile takeover of some other countries oil fields or keep the natives in a plantation or sweatshop nation from demanding a better standard of living.

Bush should be an albatross around McCain's neck, so every American will remember who he will serve if he is elected president: the inbred, sociopathic, children of privilege.
