The unicorn whales, long associated with abortion rights because of their habit of spearing each others unwanted offspring with their horn, endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

This is the first endorsement of a candidate by a non-human mammal species.

Republican party leaders were quick to point out that if they could make their preferences known, the scavengers and maggots that feed on the dead on battlefields would be 100% for McCain, who will fight to make sure those species are never endangered by being underfed.
